DIY Babyshower

This, my friends, is a diaper cake. Super cute decor, and a great way to give diapers. This is all Corinne Przedpelski
. She knows what she's doing concerning all things baby.
These are some wooden letters that I painted for the baby to spell out her name on the wall.
This is a little blessing basket. Each guest had the chance to write some encouraging words on an index card, and then we put them in the photo album for Jessica, the Mom.
Our foods of choice were Pound Cake in precious bite sized cubes with Emily Bennet's magic Cheesecake dip. That stuff really brings people in the door! It's just Marshmallow Fluff and Cream Cheese. Emily's a wizard.

Scripture Picture is a glorious thing.
i made these images on Picnik by using some tools they have available, and then adding in some of my favorite scripture verses of the moment.
these are pretty much the verses that i'm memorizing right now.

IKEA carries these wonderful little picture mounts that are frameless. love em.
ordered my images through, mounted them in the frames, and we're in business.

"That was Record Time..."

Ikea sells clock parts, for $2. Records already have holes in the middle of them...perfect!
I used bottle caps filled with chapter heading number from a book.
Cost: $2
Time: 30 minutes

I'm not a big purse-carrier...

you may remember my first lanyard thing. and though it is perhaps more aesthetically pleasing than this one, my new guy is far more functional. :) it's just cardboard, fabric, felt and hotglue. do it.
